Temporary Roofs

A temporary roof scaffolding is typically required to protect a house or building from being exposed to the elements that are having re-roofing worksrenovations, a new build extension, or loft conversion. A tin hat ensures that a water-tight perimeter is created so your building project can continue and be fully protected regardless of external conditions. We use monarflex sheeting for the sides of the framework and corrugated iron sheets as the roof covering; these are fixed to scaffold lattice beams set at a slight angle to ensure water runs freely off one side.

Here are some guide temporary roof prices below:

  • A tin hat for a bungalow around 3 or 4 sides usually starts from £3750 – £7500.
  • For a secure covering over a 2-storey terrace property for re-roofing, prices start from £4500 – £12000.
  • A 2-storey semi-detached house (3 sides) would typically begin from £5250 – £14000.
  • A detached 2-storey property (4 sides) generally starts from £6000 – £16500.
