Not always. If we have clear access to the areas where the scaffold is going and everything has been agreed beforehand, we can often carry out the erection without you needing to be there.
It’s helpful to clear items such as garden furniture, plant pots, bins and vehicles away from the working area where possible. We’ll let you know if anything else needs moving before we arrive.
That doesn’t automatically mean scaffolding can’t be provided. Let us know about narrow side passages, extensions, neighbouring boundaries or other restrictions, and we can consider these when looking at the access required.
